Great morning session with some of my favorite kiddos around! You gotta hand it to these three..it was only 22 degrees outside before we stepped out of the warm mini-van to brave the chill. Although it was freezing out the light was simply perfect, I think after a week of no cloud cover and harsh light I was due some NW goodness.
I just love these shots!

The Whaleys
How fun! This group were such troopers, as I'm dragging all 16 of them under a bridge up in Sultan Washington..I only had a few groans (all from the men folk of course!). Fun shoot with a fun bunch. Thanks Jackie and Richard for the asking me to photograph your beautiful family. You are truly blessed.

Chelsea
One of my favorite aspects of photography is location, not just real estate is all about location, location, location:) When I find a sweet spot I get soo excited!! I love to keep my photography fresh and not fall into the trap of every shoot looking the same, which can be a challenge at times. I drug Chelsea all over town and she happily obliged!! Super fun session, with a super cute gal!

Kiasa..again!!
Here are some pic's from my 3rd and final session with Kiasa!! She is such a natural! Always up for any crazy idea that I might have, including balloons, jumping and of course dodging cars with a leather chair in tow!! Kiasa it's been so much fun shooting with you over the past few months..I hope you enjoy your pic's!
Kayla
It's so amazing to me how a photograph can capture a personality. Really all I am doing is attempting to capture that..hoping for the perfect moment when a person can be replicated. Honestly some are harder to capture than others..some need a little coaxing..they need to relax past insecurities and trust me enough to know that all I want, is to show the world the best of them. High School Seniors are a blast to shoot, they are standing on the edge of adulthood with the world in the palm of their hand. So optimistic, and hopeful. Kayla was joy to spend the afternoon with! These pictures were taken at her Great-Grandparents farmstead..over a hundred years old. What an amazing evening!! A big Thank-You to her family for the honor of being a part of such a special day.
